Tax time! I actually enjoy tax season, so as soon as all the necessary papers make their way thru our mailbox, I actually get a little excited settling into the computer chair, papers spread all around me, TurboTax coming to life on the desktop... I like tasks, and organization, so entering information and seeing the "your Refund" numbers glowing green and getting higher by the minute is quite rewarding. Problem with this year, is just as I was finishing up, entering the last of the business deductions that I had forgotten about, I went to log out and it nicely asked me if I wanted to save my return... OF COURSE I want to save my return, I just spent the better part of two evenings collecting and entering all the information.... I click YES.... I swear I clicked yes...... I just know I did...... TurboTax apparently thought I clicked no, because it closed and guess what.... poof.... bye bye.... almost half of all that I had entered was gone.... I hadn't saved it since just a little way into the process. How frustrating!!! I should never have let TurboTax know that I somewhat enjoy this type of thing... what a cruel joke.... They really need to have an auto-save feature on there, that saves every few minutes.... just like this very cutting edge blogging website I am using now :) I see the little "draft saved" words flash every so often as I am typing away at the keyboard... THAT'S what I want to see on TurboTax for next year as "New and Improved"
