Busy days are the best!

Today after work I had a photo shoot, then I met the boys at Turtle Bay to visit Triston's new classroom, then off to grab some Geocaches along the rivertrail before Steve & Triston had to get to a football meeting...

Raging thru the waters....

We had a parenting class called "Raging thru the troubled waters of the teen years" (or something like that) at my church that I was unable to attend but wish that I could have...  Spent today while Steve and Triston were at FB practice to do some things with just Ethan so I could talk with him about some issues we are having. We snapped this pic along the rivertrail while looking for a couple geocaches.

Get used to seeing football pix for the next 9 weeks..... sorry...

Birthday Celebration

Even though tomorrow is my ATTUAL birthday (as Triston used to call it.... Actual birthday) we will be spending it working then at football practice, so we went out to Red Robin tonight to celebrate :)

We also stopped along the way home to grab a geocache called Paperless

that had eluded us the day before...

Geocache MONSTER

Yesterday we visited the Turtle bay's GPS and Geocaching exhibit that had 4 indoor cache's to find and the boys really liked it. This morning Triston and Steve went to an area by our house where one was hidden and found it, then we went back to TB today to do the outdoor search that involved 5 hidden cache's all over the TB's grounds. Wound up coming home and doing 6 more searches resulting in 3 finds and 3 that we will have to return to after reading more clues... Now its all Triston wants to do! Its great because its FREE, and gets us out and excercising and exploring/hiking/walking/going to new places... Fun stuff!!!

Catfishing at dusk

We took the kids catfishing tonight out on Shasta. Left the house about 7 I think, grabbed them some mountain dew's (yes, its a catfishing tradition, ask Ethan!) and headed out with the boat... Ethan caught one once we made it back to the dock, but we all had a fun night. Got home about 1230am

Flaming practice

There was a big fire just south of the area where football practice is held tonight. You can see the smoke in my image. It burned a large area of brush near some homes and a shopping center along with the area's 911 dispatch center but no homes or buildings were lost. Thanks Firefighters!!!!

Football is a TOUGH sport.... Not for the weak...

Grandma couldnt take it... I dont think she will be back to watch Triston practice. The games are different, but the practices are DRIVE.... PUSH... PUSH HARDER.... PUSH YOURSELF TO THE MAX.... Now Run till you puke, do push-ups till you cry... Or until Grandma cries and says, Does Triston really NEED to play football???

Aparently to a cat, this "present" means I love you.... hmmmm
