The best kind of work...
Is working from home. Today I got to stay home and look up the addresses of all the new parents in our area, so we can send out a mailing with a coupon for the day care center.

Drivin' all day then new hair for football
Spent most of the day driving home from OR, (and got this great pic of the Heceta lighthouse)
and had time to unpack and it was time to go to town for some supplies and a haircut for Triston.
We talked him into getting his haircut (actually his buddy Nathan did) for football.

Ahhhhhh relaxation....
So Erin and I are in OR on a girls trip to celebrate our 20 years of friendship. We met in High School, I was a senior and she was a freshman and we were in Yearbook class together. We had so much fun going around town collecting add's and sponsors for the yearbook. We clicked despite our 3 year age difference and somehow made it thru 20 years of ups and downs, ins and outs, marriage for each of us, moving 1500 miles apart, having kids, divorce for us both- at seperate times in our lives to where we were not single at the same time, and eventually re-marriage for us both and arriving at a point in our lives where we now live less than a mile from each other. We decided that a friendship like this deserved a special trip to celebrate it!

Shooting for the stars!!
Tonight I went to a SJW football meeting to promote myself and put in a bid to do the player portraits for the entire league. A HUGE venture, but one that I can handle if I'm chosen. I took a photo of some of the promo items I took for demonstration.

Home again home again.... Hurrah Hurrah.... NOT!!!
Triston was more than thrilled to be packing up everything and heading home.....
We had to stop off at Whiskeytown and run the boat motor in the lake to clear out all the salt water from the ocean. We got some funny looks from people as we "launched" our boat with a quad strapped in the seats...

Homeland- Land of the Free
I was invited by my church's music director to be the "official" photographer for their Homeland Concert at the Cascade Theatre today. The concert was amazing, and made you really appreciate this great land we live in. I'm so glad I got to be a small part of it!
