Special Moments

Today my mom and I went out to Coffee to celebrate her birthday (which was at the beginning of the month, but we just got around to doing it). We met at Yaks and visited for a couple hours.... Actually we didnt realize they had closed and they had to come politely ask us to leave. :) We moved to an outdoor table, and noticed their sign with the hours of operation on it were noon - till tired........ Well, they must have been tired..... Anyways, we had a nice visit, I'm so thankful for my mom!!! :)

We hiked the McCloud falls today. Lower, Middle and Upper. It was a fun day. The boys liked the middle falls the best because they got to jump off the rocks, even though the water was about 20 degrees!!!

Vacation Bible School at Redding Christian Fellowship!

Prayer Blankets

The kids tied blankets that will be going with our Mission trip to Honduras where they will be given to the children there. They said a prayer over each blanket for the child who winds up with it.

New windows!!!!!!

We got new windows for all the bedrooms! Yay!

Energy fair

Today we went to the Energy fair at the sundial bridge. It wasnt a planned trip so yet again, I didnt have my camera......  We had gone yard saleing & decided to stop by and see what was there. Cathy was there with Jett so the boys went on all the inflatables and kids stuff they had there. They had a slide, Air baseball, snow cones, etc...

Games with my boo

Triston loves playing games, so we are always trying to find creative twists to the classics that we wind up playing over and over again. Tonight we played Memory outside on the patio on the round coffee table and I thought the pattern the cards made was pretty interesting looking...

Doing a little bit O' people watching....

Tonight we went to Marketfest here in Redding. Its relaxing and a great place to do some serious people watching.... Triston was completely bored as you can see in this image, so we didn't stay long but I was able to get a couple photos....

Take me to the Fair...

This was my first year entering my photos in the fair. I entered 4 pictures and 3 of them got ribbons. A first place and 2 second places! Yay, I'm so excited!!!! I cant wait till next year!

Getting ready for VBS!!!!

Vacation Bible School is next week at our church. Tonight was a meeting for those involved. Im doing the photography. Will be fun!!!!!!

Monday Blah's

Its Monday......  Our Fun trip is over...... There's a bug in my coffee and I dont know how long it had been in there..... I'd already drank half the cup...... Yep, Its Monday alright......

Sunday Funday....

Spent the day at the Exploritorium and walking around San Fran. Fun day!

Amusement Park time!

Spent the whole day at Great America! Well, we DID leave and walk about a mile to Taco Bell in order to avoid paying $15 a person for food! We got lunch for the whole gang at TB for $14!!! Love those $2 meal deals!!

Well, today was exciting because it was Triston's first time on an upside down coaster. It happened to be on the same one that I rode for the first time too when I was a kid!

He was nervous, but just like myself, the minute it was over he said "LET'S GO AGAIN!!!"

Then Ethan went on the SkyCoaster! Dare devil!!!

Vacation time!!!

We took a mini vacation this weekend to Great America and the Bay Area. The next few days are some of my favorite images of those days. These from Fri are pretty basic, because we spent the better part of the day traveling, but as soon as we checked in to the hotel, guess what the kiddos all wanted to do........

Beauty salon trip

Ya, as IF it was for me! I never go to a salon, it was for Luna. She got her nails trimmed, doesnt she look happy? haha

Erin asked if I could go let her chickens out of the coop on Saturday morning,

as she was not going to be home. Triston was very excited this morning

 when I told him what we were doing.

He adores the chickens!!!

I took my camera because we didnt have anything else going on today so I figured maybe I could snap my image over there... I found SOOOO many things I wanted to photograph!!!

End of the season

Today marked the end of baseball for 2010.  Triston had his last game and then the team all met at Angelo's pizza for a party and awards.

Never get it right......

I always dye my own hair, and you'd think after years of doing it, I'd have it mastered.... For some reason I never seem to get the right color

and today was no exception.....

I decided to try Garnier because I love all their other products,

and I usually go a little lighter in the summer, so I got Golden brown..... Well, my hair at the top of my head was orange!!! I had to re-dye it the next day in a darker color. I think I need to go with an Ash base because I have so many natural red highlights in my hair that anything not ash really brings out the red.... and I mean RED...
