Ethan had a bet with a friend... Something about running and who was faster... The loser of the race had to wear a suit and tie to school every Friday for the remainder of the year.

 Im not saying who lost but..................................

He has such a great smile, I just wish he'd show it more. He always thinks he needs to be serious in pictures...

Just us, on a bike ride out at Keswick. We rode all the way to the old train tunnel. We're talking like 9 miles out or so.... Steve kept saying, "I think its just a little bit more" :) The kids and I rode back a couple miles while Steve rode back the entire 9 to the truck and came and picked us up. Good thing it was a beautiful day out!

My long lost southern friend....

Yvonne stopped by for a visit tonight. I was soooo excited to see her! We got caught up on all that has/is going on and it was so much fun. The photo is a little crazy cuz it was a last minute thing and I didnt have the settings right and just handed it to Ethan to take some pics & I had it set completely wrong. Soooo I had to mess with it and finally change it to black and white to even make it postable :) But all that matters is I got to see my Bon & I dont care that the picture didnt turn out!!! :)

Today I did a photo session for a couple of kids on their way to Jr Prom at Anderson New Tech school. It was soooo windy we had to wait for moments of calm just to get some photos taken. This is just a shot of her helping him with his corsage.

The start of their dream

I did an engagement session today for a really neat couple. They are getting married in November and I am also doing their wedding photos. They are a really fun couple, and I cant wait to share in their special day!

I love that Triston is still at the age where he brings me treasures.... Today it was this beautiful flower. He says he didnt pick it, it was just on the ground :)

Dont Blink...

Today is Ethan's 15th Birthday. I cannot believe it was that long ago when he was born. It just doesnt seem like he should be that old.... that's almost an adult... Almost grown.... Almost driving.....  Oh my... thats a lot of almost's that I dont think I'm ready for......

I can see once football starts what all my photos are going to be about, since I already have a bunch of baseball ones and BB season ain't Nuttin' like football season......   During football season we spend Mon-Thurs from right after an early dinner clear up till bedtime at the field for practice PLUS every Friday at Ethan's game's and every Sat at Triston's games. Such a dedicated sport!!!! Sundays are our only free days off from football.... Other than when the NFL starts up, but thats only watching :)

Today I went to lunch with my dad to celebrate his birthday that was a few weeks ago. We went to applebee's and had a great time. I am so blessed to have my dad. He is my Hero!!! Love you dad!

Date with little man...

Tonight was the annual Mother/Son dance at Tristons school. Always a lot of fun, even if the boys run around with their friends most of the night.... Tonight was no exception but when it ended and the DJ kept playing music for the clean-up crew, Triston insisted it wasnt over because the music was still going.... There were a handful of other moms and sons who stayed until the lights came on and the DJ announced that it was time to go home :)

Dentist.... Blecccckkk

I dont like going to the dentist.... Its not that I have a dental phobia, and I really like the hygienists there, I never have cavities or any problems.... I guesss its just the time it takes.. I know its only twice a year but it seems im always busy and have so much to do on the day of the apt....

Happy Anniversary

Celebrated our 10 year anniversary today. We went to Peter Chu's out at the Redding airport for some chinese food. Yummmmm!!!

Catching on.....

During the baseball game, the players that arent up to bat are supposed to be seated on the bench cheering on their team mates... Most of the time, though they are spitting sunflower seads, squirting their water bottles at each other tossing a ball around, climbing the fence.... I could go on and on.....    It took me about 3 or 4 tries before I was able to get a photo of them all sitting along the bench and it still didnt turn out like I was intending.... But It will have to do.

Baseball, to me, is still the national pastime because it is a summer game. I feel that almost all Americans are summer people, that summer is what they think of when they think of their childhood. I think it stirs up an incredible emotion within people.

Then this afternoon while he was at a golf tournament, I headed up to Lakehead because Triston wanted me to come see the fish he caught in the tournament they are in this weekend.
